As a mature student, I didn’t think I would be considered for an apprenticeship but I was selected by construction company, HMS, from 800 applicants. My role involves working in clients homes and I am currently part of the kitchen fitting team. It is great to earn a wage whilst learning on-the-job and working towards a qualification. This apprenticeship has given me a fantastic opportunity to build a lifelong career in a diverse and exciting role. ”
